Abstract
Cancer resistance to conventional therapies remains a significant challenge in oncology, leading to treatment failure and poor patient outcomes. Immunotherapy has emerged as a promising approach to overcome resistance by harnessing the body's immune system to recognize and eliminate cancer cells. This review dwelt on the mechanisms of resistance in cancer therapy, the advances in immunotherapy strategies, and how these therapies are overcoming resistance in various cancer types. It also highlighted the clinical outcomes of recent trials and explored future directions in the field.
